Infact, using CARBON FILM or CARBON COMPOSITION resistors in critical points like the first tube stage, if you use a 1W or 2W resistor instead the standard 1/2W, your amplifier will sound BETTER, expecially the MARSHALLS, where you have a very high high gain, and all the noise of the first stage is amplified a lot.
