Description
Antique Knights Templar York rite sword with original scabbard. It dates back to the late1800s. The maker of the blade is f.s. Armstrong. Sword length is 35 and the blade is 28 inches 5 inches wide at the guard. The sword handle is made of wood. The sword handle, guard and pommel are tight and solid. This sword is complete with a scabbard and pieces. The blade is clean with nice etching work on both sides the blade is named edwin m. Stanton. The scabbard is clean and made of leather with nice silver adornment. Note it has its issues and looks fragile. Great shape for 140+ years. The sword glides in and out of the scabbard, made and fitted by a master. Please look at the pictures for further evaluation. Overall a very clean sword with typical signs of age and use.
