    Description

    This Stevens cap gun was made in 1895 with a three star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 196(s.n.88). This cap gun is 7 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It has beautiful scroll work on both sides of the body and the grip of the cap gun, and the words “PATD JUNE 17 1890.AND APPLIED FOR. The barrel shows some fading.
    This gun is in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures. This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
