Wait -- what is a power supply?
That's easy. Amplifiers require DC power. They can't use the AC that comes out of a wall outlet. What puts out DC power? Batteries. So Fender, and every other amp maker, puts a 'power supply' in the amp -- this just means that the AC from your wall outlet constantly charges up batteries in the amplifier... and the batteries power the amp. Presto - the amp gets the DC power it needs. Engineers like to sound smart, so they call these batteries "capacitors".  Power supply capacitors get **old** and **tired** after 10 years. So the capacitors powering these old amps are wobbly and tuckered-out. That is why it's critical to replace the power supply capacitors with brand new ones.

This sat UN-PLAYED in my friend's basement for years.  It has been gigged, but not since the 1980s.
In addition to the power supply renewal,
all knobs and contacts were cleaned.
This is a *huge* improvement to any amplifier, especially these older Fenders.
So, this Twin Reverb is in tip-top playing condition.
The photos show, it is clearly from the 1970s. But it sounds great.  The sound is super clean, as you expect.
Everything works
