This is part of a large 200 + collection of Promo Posters I bought years ago from a girl who worked at a local record shop. She divvied up the posters with other employees, but had an eclectic taste, and has some great late 1970's early 80's bands including: Bob Dylan, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paul McCartney, Devo, Nina Hagen, Dire Straits, John Lennon, Rolling Stones, Steve Miller, X, Talking Heads, B-52's, Go-Go's, and many more.
This is a
huge
promo poster for Michael Jackson's,
Thriller
album. The printing data at bottom right is OP 38112 Michael Jackson copyright 1982 CBS Inc.. The poster measures
35 1/2" x 45",
( 90 cm x 114 cm ). It features a photo similar to the album cover, with the additional MJ legs and tiger that were cropped off. It's in great shape, but has some minor flaws! They are mainly around some edges, where it was stored rolled up, and at corners where it was tacked to record store wall. Specifically, there is a small piece missing at bottom left corner, with some light edge wear there also along bottom red border. There are a few small pinholes scattered in border. At the midway point on left edge is a small 1/4" tear with a 1/2" tear at midpoint of right border. There are also a couple pinholes at top corners where hung. The red border is complete all the way around. It was just rolled under a tad on right side. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is being sold "As is", with no returns.
