This is a previously-owned “Michael Ricker / 1982” button that measures approximately 1½ inches in diameter. The back has been engraved by the artist with his signature.
The late Michael Ricker devoted his life work to sculpting a producing fine pewter figurines. For over 30 years, Ricker produced thousands of limited edition pieces through his company, "Pewter by Ricker.” Of note, Ricker became an internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor and produced highly sought-after artwork. He formed The Michael Ricker Casting Studios located in Estes Park, Colorado, in 1968 and continued the business until he passed away in 2006. At one point, he was regarded as one of the most collected artists in the world.
