    ; May 15, 1859 - September 17, 1940) is a prominent Ukrainian actor, director, playwright and teacher of the school of Mark Kropyvnytskyi, one of the luminaries Ukrainian household theater. In his stage name, Saksaganskyi immortalized the homeland of Yevdokia's mother - she came from the town of Saksagan (now a village in the Kamian district of the Dnipro region).
