Vintage 1920s Old Maid Playing Card Set, Whitman, FULL SET!

Up for grabs is a very rare COMPLETE set of the Whitman Publishing Old Maid Playing Cards set from the 1920s
I believe this vintage Whitman (out of Atlanta) Old Maid Playing Card Set was my dear father’s when he was a child.  He is no longer here to advise, but I believe this set used to be his.  It is a full set!  I learned to take care of things from him!  The truth is revealed!
I did research and found only two other offerings of these cards out there for sale and both were missing cards.  So here you have a very cool collectible and possibly one of the very few, if not last, complete set of these playing cards.
These characters are very nicely illustrated…much better than all the other sets that are out on the market.  This artist really put his heart and soul into these illustrations.  Check out the pics.  There are characters representing mob gangsters, the fuzz, immigrants and Black Americana.  You want diversity, this is for you.
21 sets of two cards for each character and of course, the single Old Maid card.  I understand this game was to be played very fast, sort of like today’s spoons (used to play Spoons and eat Dominos into the night in Reed Hall at UGA…the good old days)…and the card you did not want to be left with was the Old Maid…so she is the card that has condition issues, if any…but still a very nice collection of cards.
Being a hundred years old, they are in classic used condition, as they should be.  Back in those days, nobody thought about the collectability of items, especially paper products.  Otherwise Action #1 would not be selling for over a million buckaroos.
The box they came in is long gone.  These would be great for framing.  Get the FULL SET while it is available.  You will NOT be seeing another complete set any time soon.
100-year old cards, or there abouts…condition is used.  Kept in a box in a smoke-free environment.  Will be carefully packaged and mailed
in a box.
