    Description

Vintage 1966 Kay 708C Galaxie II Electric Guitar Combo Amplifier Amp *Rare*
Welcome! Right now, you are looking at a super cool, and very rare guitar amplifier.
This is a 1966 Kay 708C Galaxie II electric guitar combo amplifer.
The serial number is 1577. The speaker source code 1056 619 means it was manufactured by Fisher, in the 19th week of 1966.
I've never seen an amplifier quite like this before.
Kay introduced the line of "Transistorized Amps" with the Galaxie II, sitting on top of the line.
The coolest feature by far is the removable chassis, which is secured to the top of the cabinet with clasps, attached to a 25' cable.
Removable brass console-style legs giving this amp a 'space age' mid century look.
Original 12" Fisher speakers, 35W output, 2-channel with corresponding footswitch inputs, bass/treble EQ, vibrato.
Featuring 11 transistors, and 8 diodes.
As you can see from the photos, it's in good condition, especially considering its age. Some 'vintage mojo' marks/scratches, and tolex tare.
    Fully tested and sounds incredible.
Don't miss the opportunity to get your hands on a super rare Kay amplifier for the price you want.
    Thanks for looking!
